Is it free to run a co-op on Starpath?
Yes. Setting up and running your co-op on Starpath is free. Families who want the curriculum for their own children buy it themselves: single main lesson blocks are $19, or $47 a month for everything.
Does every family in the co-op have to buy the curriculum?
No. Families who want the lessons at home buy them for their own children. The co-op itself costs nothing to run.
Which grades does the curriculum cover?
Grades 1 to 3 are complete and grade 4 is being added. There’s no kindergarten curriculum, so co-ops with younger children often lean on circle time, stories and the festival year, and our festival guides are free for everyone.
Is Starpath Waldorf-inspired?
Starpath is Waldorf-inspired. The lessons are written by Sophie, a Waldorf class teacher with more than ten years in the classroom, and taught in main lesson blocks with stories, painting, form drawing and the festivals.
What does the co-op side include?
A shared program your families can follow together, with a group calendar, the list of parent jobs and each family’s details. It all lives in one place, so the organizer isn’t holding it in a group chat.
