- Self-certification (autocertificazione) of technical or economic capacity; child details and grade
Subjects and hours
- Instruction: Parent-designed; must enable child to meet national learning outcomes for the grade

Testing and assessment
- Testing: Annual esame di idoneità at end of school year as external candidate at state or paritaria school
- Assessment: Idoneità exam verifies suitability for next grade; failure may require state school enrollment

- Idoneità Exam: recurring: end of school year (June/July)
