  • When: September 30 (May 15 recommended)

  • 3-year plan with subjects, outcomes aligned to BC curriculum, materials, instructional methods

Subjects and hours

  • Instruction: Parent-directed; must align to BC K-12 curriculum outcomes

Records to keep

  • Records: Maintain records of plan implementation and student work

Testing and assessment

  • Testing: Not required; optional Yukon Foundation Skills Assessments in grades 4 and 7
  • Assessment: Plan approval by AVS; optional progress evaluations

Deadlines

  • Annual Registration: recurring May 15 (recommended) or September 30
