Rudolf Steiner's collected works

Rudolf Steiner (1861 to 1925) started Waldorf education, biodynamic farming and eurythmy, and wrote and lectured on philosophy, art, science and the social questions of his time. His collected works, the Gesamtausgabe or GA, give every book and lecture series a number.

Here are 345 of those volumes and 5,477 lectures, given between 1886 and 1925. Each one has its dates and places, and a link to read it free in English on the Rudolf Steiner Archive. The lectures on medicine aren't part of this catalogue.

For parents and teachers

Steiner's talks on education are in GA 293 to 311, 23 volumes. The first three, starting with General Human Studies as the Basis of Education, are the course he gave the teachers of the first Waldorf school in Stuttgart. The school opened in September 1919, straight after it. 5 include lectures given in England, in London, Oxford, Ilkley, Torquay and Stratford.
