Questions about homeschooling in Arizona
Can I do both ESA and the Homeschool Affidavit?
No. You cannot be enrolled in the ESA program and file a Homeschool Affidavit at the same time. They are legally separate categories.
Do I have to take standardized tests?
No. Neither the Affidavit option nor the ESA option requires standardized testing in Arizona.
What can I buy with ESA funds?
Funds can be used for curriculum, textbooks, online programs, tutoring, therapy, testing fees, and even some technology. All purchases must be educational.

Which Waldorf curriculum fits your family?
Four questions: your child’s age, the time you have each day, how close to a Waldorf school you want to be, and what matters most. Your answers are matched against the 8 curricula in our comparison. Starpath is one of them and gets no extra points. The result shows on the page, and you can have it emailed to you.
Answer the four questionsDates come from published Arizona requirements and are not legal advice. Laws change. Cross-check with the official state source and our full Arizona guide.
